I have written this letter of recommendation for Mark Birdling for the following reasons:

I found Mark to be a very honest and open person. He genuinely cares about securing the best price possible for the vendor. Mark also keeps you informed throughout the whole process of selling your property. He goes to great lengths to ensure that you are aware of all options with regards to marketing your property along with the various ways your property can be sold (ie; auction, internet, tender etc). Mark will at no stage push or bully you throughout the process of selling your property, which is something I have experienced in the past.

We recently listed our property in New Lynn with Mark Birdling. We found Mark to be extremely professional in the way he approached the marketing of our property, he listened to what we wanted and advised us of what we needed. We felt very comfortable approaching Mark with questions and queries. Mark always followed through on what he said he would do.

Mark had the property sold in less time than we anticipated. He did not pressure us into accepting any offer. He was honest with his thoughts but was happy to keep marketing the property if we rejected an offer. Our experience with Mark Birdling of Ray White before, during and after our house sale.

We first knew Mark via a door knock one weekend back in March while renovating out late Dad’s house. He seemed very easy to chat to so we asked him to cast an eye over what we were doing. We asked if he knew of a reliable floor sander, he said he would ask around his colleagues for a recommendation. A week or so later he popped a note in with details of someone. We did end up using this tradesman and were not disappointed with the results.

This year we had the occasion to sell a house in Avondale. I was given Mark’s name as a reference as a person who could manage the sale for us. Frankly Mark did an outstanding job. Right from taking the time to understand what we wanted, the marketing, the process and making sure the delivery was what we expected.
